The Jaranwala Incident

The Jaranwala incident was a horrific event that took place on August 16, 2023, in the town of Jaranwala, Punjab, Pakistan. On that day, a mob of angry Muslims attacked 23 churches and more than 300 homes in the Christian Colony, after it was alleged that some pages of the Holy Quran had been desecrated. The mob also set fire to several churches and homes, displacing dozens of Christian families. The incident sparked wide spread condemnation from across Pakistan and the world. The government quickly arrested more than 100 people in connection with the violence, and promised to bring the perpetrators to justice. However, the incident has left a deep scar on the Christian community in Pakistan, and raised concerns about the safety of religious minorities in the country. The Jaranwala incident was a traumatic experience for many families. They lost their home, their belongings, and their sense of security. However, they are determined to rebuild their lives. They are grateful to the people who have helped them, and they are hopeful for the future. The Good Samaritan Society went to Jaranwala with the help of Salt and Light Association and estimated the loss of people there and the Good Samaritan Society helped people whose houses were completely burnt down and their houses were left with nothing. We are grateful to the Salt and Light Association with whose help we have helped so many families. So that they can live their life again in a better and better way.

Once again I am extremely grateful to Salt and Light Association for helping people on such a huge level.
