Testimony of Libia Shafiqe

My name is Libia Shafiqe. For many years, I worked hard cleaning people’s homes, going from one place to another every day to earn a living. It was difficult work, but I had to support my family, especially my two children.

One day, I heard about the Good Samaritan Sewing Centre. I became very interested and decided to join the evening stitching classes. Even though I was tired after a long day of cleaning, I stayed committed to learning this new skill.

After one year of training, my life completely changed. I was able to leave my house cleaning work and start sewing clothes from home. Now, I earn a living by stitching clothes for people in my community. This new opportunity not only helps me support my family better, but it also allows me to spend more quality time with my children.

I thank God and the Good Samaritan Society for giving me this chance to build a better future for myself and my kids.

“She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks.”
