The Good Samaritan Sewing Centre in Zaman Park, Sheikhupura, is a vital initiative of the Good Samaritan Society for Development and Rehabilitation. Launched with a vision to empower marginalized Christian girls and women, the centre provides free vocational training in sewing, stitching, and tailoring skills.

Our mission is to equip women from brick kiln families and underprivileged backgrounds with the tools they need to achieve financial independence, restore their dignity, and support their families with honor. Through a structured training program, we help students learn practical skills that open the doors to self-employment and sustainable livelihoods.

What We Offer:

6 to 12-month training courses in sewing and tailoring

Hands-on practice with modern sewing machines and tools

Pattern making and garment designing basics

Personal development and soft skills sessions

Support for starting home-based tailoring businesses

Impact:

Since its establishment, the Sewing Centre has trained dozens of women who are now earning incomes, supporting their households, and living with new confidence. Our graduates often go on to establish small businesses, join garment factories, or work from home.
